The program is RESINC Solar & Batteries’ bold step toward honouring those who’ve served, by delivering lasting, practical support that reduces energy costs and promotes long-term sustainability. As a proud social enterprise, RESINC Solar & Batteries is committed to giving back — not just in words, but in action. With every large-scale solar project the company completes, a portion is dedicated to funding and delivering fully donated solar and battery systems to Veterans in need. These installations significantly ease the financial burden for both individuals and Veteran support organisations, allowing more resources to be directed toward vital recovery and mental health services. “We believe our Veterans deserve more than a thank you — they deserve support that changes lives,” said The RESINC Team. “This program is one way we can help lower their bills and improve quality of life, while also accelerating Australia’s shift towards clean energy.” ### Partnering with This Story Australia In 2025, RESINC Solar & Batteries further cemented its Veteran-first approach by partnering with *This Story Australia*, a not-for-profit organisation that captures and preserves the lived experiences of Australian Veterans through powerful, documentary-style interviews. The collaboration goes beyond energy — it’s about impact. RESINC Solar & Batteries is not only helping fund the filming and distribution of these moving stories but is also donating solar and battery systems to the Veterans featured. This partnership creates a dual legacy: preserving important national stories and improving daily life for those who lived them. One such story is that of **Esdale Davis**, a 103-year-old World War II Air Force Veteran. Through *This Story Australia*, Esdale’s life and service have been shared with the country — and now, thanks to RESINC Solar & Batteries, he also receives free solar to reduce his cost of living and gain energy independence in his later years. ### Supporting Veteran-Centric Organisations RESINC Solar & Batteries is also donating solar systems to Veteran support centres across Australia. These organisations are critical lifelines, offering recovery programs, counselling, housing support and more. By covering their energy needs, RESINC Solar & Batteries enables these centres to redirect funds into frontline services where they are needed most. “Our mission has always been about more than solar,” said The RESINC Team. “We’re here to support communities, reduce pressure on households, and in this case, power the places and people who’ve sacrificed so much.” ### A Long-Term Commitment With the Solar for Veterans Program, RESINC Solar & Batteries is setting a new benchmark in how Australian businesses can combine commercial success with community-driven purpose. The company’s continued investment in both clean energy and Veteran welfare reinforces its status as a values-led industry leader. As RESINC Solar & Batteries and *This Story Australia* continue their work together, more Veterans will have their stories heard and their lives changed. It’s not just about renewable energy – it’s about powering respect, recognition, and resilience.
