# RESINC Solar & Batteries Partners with Origin Energy on Channel 9’s Budget Battlers to Help Transform Australian Lives
RESINC Solar & Batteries is proud to announce its involvement in the inspiring new Channel 9 television series ***Budget Battlers***, launching tonight, Wednesday 22nd October at 7.30pm. The series showcases everyday Australians who have gone above and beyond for their communities, and rewards them with life-changing home upgrades designed to provide long-term cost-of-living relief.
As part of this national initiative, RESINC was invited to collaborate with Origin Energy to provide fully installed solar and battery systems, along with energy-efficient upgrades such as LED lighting and heat pumps, across six deserving homes featured throughout the series.
This partnership reflects RESINC’s core mission as a social enterprise: using renewable energy not only to reduce bills, but to create real, lasting impact in the lives of Australians doing it tough.
**The initiative was brought to life through the combined efforts of:**
- Jess and Norm, along with supervisor Leigh and the entire team Jess calls the Budget Battlers family. They are passionate about supporting everyday Australians who have given so much to their communities and are now in need of some support themselves.
- The entire Budget Battlers family works tirelessly and operates like the most amazing, hard-working, well-oiled machine — around the clock for a week — driven by the passion that only Jess could bring to a team. Everyone draws inspiration from seeing how passionate she is about helping and giving back when it’s most needed.
- This incredible series highlights teamwork at its best — with generous and amazing sponsors like Origin, who show up every week, and kind individuals who have spent their lives giving and helping others in their communities, families, and circles of friends.
- The RESINC Solar & Batteries team are honoured to be part of this amazing cause and proud to stand alongside the Budget Battlers family.
- Lydia, Michael, and Darryn from Origin Energy, along with the dedicated Commercial Installation and Project Management Team at RESINC Solar & Batteries, worked behind the scenes to ensure each property received world-class clean energy technology.
